Face Fillers

Treatment Methodology:

Facial fillers can be used as a complement of minimal invasive Facial Surgery. Other facial treatments such as Botox, medical peeling, laser and collagen induction therapy can complete the results.

When face natural filling tissues begins to deteriorate, appears the first surplus of skin, which loses the natural support and deep anatomical structure.

These defects can not be solved with conventional rejuvenation techniques, such as blepharoplasty or facelift, as these techniques basically "stretch" the skin and then removing the excess. Nowadays they are corrected with fillers.

Independently or simultaneously, depressions and lack of projection of the face can be corrected, as well as enhance, shape and add volume to the lips.

In addition to rejuvenation, facial fillers work quite well in aesthetics,  such as lip augmentation, and cheek or chin projections on faces known as "bird profile."

The procedure is comfortable and safe. The product is injected slowly with a very thin and flexible needle into a suitable depth, according to the type of wrinkle to be treated. It is not painful and produces minimal edema.

Then, the zone is massaged to distribute the product homogeneously.

This treatment ensures a youthful and firm appearance, thanks to the volumes correction, reducing the signs of aging and moisturizing the skin tissue.

It is a new generation dermal filler distributed by Merz Aesthetics, consisting of 30% synthetic microspheres of hydroxyapatite calcium and 70% of an aqueous gel solution, which is completely reabsorbed by the body in about 18 months. It is indicated to fill moderate to deep wrinkles, furrows, and correction of facial lines such as nose and chin, as well as hand rejuvenation.

Over time, the body absorbs the gel and the growing collagen infiltrates and occupies the space with the patient's own natural tissue.
